Editor's Comment
A home is burgled every 173 seconds in the UK. I bet the people who live there are fed up with that. Editor Brian Shillibeer says he shouldn’t joke as being burgled is extremely distressing and points to the fact that this industry can introduce better locking and better detection. He asks why do we not go round to all our old customers and sell them some new locks – or a Ring Doorbell and some external cameras? Kate Ashley-Norman, says she was impressed with the number of people at the recent FIT Show who seemed to be showing curiosity and optimism at the opportunities that were present. She says opportunity is a state of mind that you should nurture – rather that waiting for it to happen make it happen for you.
